Multi talented award winning musican, Mayuto Correa’s career spans some six decades. Brazilian born Correa has been published in more than a dozen collections in the arts. He is known foremost as one of the world’s premiere percussionists, guitarists, composers, arrangers and vocalists. He participated in hundreds historical events with legendary musicians including Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, Sammy Davis Jr., Henry Mancini, Burt Bacharach, to name only a few, as well as renowned groups. Correa’s work has been included in the Encyclopedia of Jazz; the Official Photo of Jazz Musicians of the Century; Dicionario da MPB Ricardo.
